My name is Sariah, I am a wife of a navy veteran and current chiropractic student and mother of 5 children and one angel baby. I am the owner and professional photographer at Reflections by Luna in Atlanta, Georgia. I am 1 in 4.
We lost our son Jonathan Harold Scott at 20 weeks old. I was induced in September of 2016 and gave birth to our sleeping little boy. Our kids were heartbroken. He was our tie breaker and surprise baby. He and his sister Adaline would have been just over a year apart. Losing Jonathan was one of the hardest and worst things to ever happen. Being a military wife and watching my husband leave on deployment just 3 short months labor and finding out I was pregnant with our rainbow baby right after he left made deployment last a very long time.
Sharing these stories of hope after the storm along with my own story has helped me talk through what happened, recognize my feelings and heal from my loss. He will always be a part of our family. I hope by reading these stories it will help you and your family heal as well. I encourage anyone who has gone through a loss to talk to someone about it, whether it be a friend, family member or a counselor who specializes in reproductive loss. There are so many resources out there and you are not alone.
